Reyna Roberts Bio

"Reyna Roberts Is Claiming Her Spot On Your Country Hits Playlist" - Rolling Stone

Rising singer-songwriter-musician Reyna Roberts is indisputably making her mark on country music from the get-go, releasing her first “raucous” (New York Times) “banger” (Rolling Stone) “Stomping Grounds” and immediately garnering attention from critics as “one of the most purely fun country songs of the year so far” (American Songwriter), with the “full throttle track” showcasing “her other influences Gretchen Wilson, The Chicks” (Billboard).  Co-written by Roberts with Noah Henson, “Stomping Grounds” was also featured during Monday Night Football and added to ESPN Music’s “Grind Mode” playlist on Spotify. Before moving to Nashville, TN Roberts’ soundtrack to her life was a plethora of genres, with artists including Aretha Franklin, Led Zeppelin, Christina Aguilera, Destiny’s Child, The Chicks and Journey also making a huge impression on Roberts from a young age, prompting her to jump up on stage at a bar in Fairbanks, AK at the age of three. Roberts’ passion for songwriting and performing only continued to grow as she recorded her first song “Lying To Myself” in 2014, inspired by a crush on a fellow wrestler – the captain of her high school team.  By 2016, Roberts honed her performance chops as she toured throughout the US, opening for The Plain White T’s. Roberts has a heart for giving back, volunteering for organizations including Stand for the Silent, Rett Syndrome Awareness, The Wounded Warrior Project, Teen Impact Affiliates and the Empowerment Project. Born into a military family, Roberts is also a committed advocate in supporting military service members and veterans. For more information on Roberts visit reynaroberts.com and follow updates on Instagram: @thereynaroberts, Twitter: @TheReynaRoberts and Facebook: facebook.com/TheReynaRoberts.
