COUNTRY MUSIC STAR JASON ALDEAN FEATURED IN CLEAR CHANNEL’S ‘STRIPPED’ MUSIC SERIES
Aldean Celebrates 5th Consecutive Top 10 Single With “Laughed Until We Cried”
NASHVILLE, TN – Mar 10, 2008 – Country music star Jason Aldean is the latest featured artist in Clear Channel’s intimate performance series – STRIPPED – premiering Tuesday, March 11 on www.strippedmusic.com with distribution to over 120 Clear Channel radio stations’ web sites.
In an acoustic studio performance, Aldean treats fans to a 5-song set including his hits “Johnny Cash,” “Hicktown,” “Amarillo Sky,” “Laughed Until We Cried” and a cover of John Anderson’s “Black Sheep,” along with never-before-seen interview footage.
“Being at CRS last week was a great reminder for me what a huge role country radio has had in my success to this point, so it is fun to offer them something special that you can’t get anywhere else,” said Aldean. “We are so used to peforming our show out on the road with electric guitars blazing that it is nice to go back into a studio and try a different set up.”
Aldean’s current single “Laughed Until We Cried” marks the Georgia-native’s fifth consecutive Top 10 hit as it lands at No. nine this week on both charts and continues to climb with an overwhelming response from fans.
Aldean is currently on the road on his first solo tour across the US and Canada and is consistently selling out. He will join superstar Tim McGraw on his “Live Your Voice” tour beginning in May and hitting more than 30 cities across the nation.
