DIERKS BENTLEY HEADS TO PHOENIX FOR SECOND INSTALLMENT OF NATIONWIDE “MILES & MUSIC FOR KIDS” BENEFIT SERIES

Special Guests To Join Bentley For Post-Ride Concert At Tempe Marketplace
First Tickets Go On Sale Sat., Oct. 3

NASHVILLE, TN – Oct 2, 2009 – Multi-platinum country music star Dierks Bentley’s annual “Miles & Music for Kids” celebrity motorcycle ride and concert leaves Nashville for the first time this year, hitting the road for its debut stop in Bentley’s hometown of Phoenix, AZ, on Sat., Nov. 21. Presented by Nationwide Insurance, proceeds from the event will benefit Phoenix Children’s, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

The hour-long ride will depart Buddy Stubbs Harley (13850 N. Cave Creek Rd.) and travel along the beautiful, mountain-lined Piestewa Peak Parkway to the Red Mountain Freeway, passing downtown Phoenix Children’s. The trek ends at Tempe Marketplace with a concert featuring Bentley and special guests to be announced in the coming weeks.

“Phoenix Children’s provides so many amazing medical services for families in my hometown,” says Bentley. “It was an obvious choice when we decided to take this event on the road. The weather is perfect in Arizona in Nov., and we are going to do our best to pull out all the stops and raise some money for the community where I grew up. I hope everyone can come out.”

Tickets for the family-friendly event go on sale on Sat., Oct. 3 through Ticketmaster. Tickets for the ride, concert and commemorative T-shirt are $45, or those looking to attend the concert only can purchase tickets for $20. Special VIP packages are also available.

This is the first time in the event’s four-year history that the ride has taken place outside of Nashville. This year, Bentley has joined forces with Nationwide Insurance, CMT ONE COUNTRY and the Children’s Miracle Network to expand the successful “Miles & Music for Kids” event to six cities across the country in 2009 and 2010 with all proceeds benefiting Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in those areas. In the three previous years, “Miles & Music for Kids” has raised over $500,000 for Children’s Hospital.

The six-part series kicks off in Nashville on Sun., Oct. 11. For the latest news and ongoing artist announcements, visit: www.dierks.com.
