Weekend Caps Off With A Televised Pre-Game Performance On NBC
NASHVILLE, TN – Jan. 28, 2015 – Multi-Platinum selling singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley returns to his hometown this week for a string of high-profile events leading up to football’s biggest night. He is kicking off the week on the golf course participating in the prestigious Waste Management Phoenix Open Annexus Pro-Am today. He’ll next host a star-studded Pre Super Bowl bash at his bar “Whiskey Row” (1/30) before taking the stage as part of CBS Radio’s stacked “The Night Before” lineup with Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line (1/31). The week will culminate on Super Bowl Sunday, where Bentley’s performance from the official NFL Tailgate will be televised as part of NBC’s pre-game show.
“It’s going to be a fun weekend in my hometown,” said Bentley. “There are a lot of country fans in the Valley and we are looking forward to taking over this week! I’m excited to have a lot of friends from Nashville in town and to be a part of some of the big events around the game.”
On the heels of his Super Bowl performance, Bentley will attend the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards airing Feb. 8 on CBS, where he received his 12th nomination with “Country Album of the Year” for his critically acclaimed “Riser.” The No. one selling album has already produced back-to-back hits “I Hold On” and “Drunk On A Plane,” making him one of only three country artists to earn two RIAA certified PLATINUM and No. one hits in 2014. He recently announced his 2015 SOUNDS OF SUMMER TOUR kicking off June 5 and running through the summer. For more information and a full list of appearances visit www.dierks.com.
