2014 RISER TOUR Plays To Over 50,000 Fans This Weekend In Virginia Beach, Washington DC And Holmdel, NJ
NASHVILLE, TN – May 19, 2014 – Currently flying up the radio charts, Country Music star Dierks Bentley’s rowdy new single “Drunk On A Plane” will land on national television this week when the award-winning singer/songwriter takes the stage to perform at TODAY on Tuesday morning (5/20) and on Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday (5/21).
Bentley is fresh off a three-show run playing to capacity crowds on the east coast, where more than 50,000 fans joined for the second weekend of his headlining 2014 RISER TOUR. Bentley’s “unbridled energy” was noted by fans and critics. The Asbury Park Press boldly stated “Bentley can deliver,” and commented that his new music “has the power of a V6 and the drive of a locomotive.”
The hilarious new music video for “Nashville’s freshest, funniest party song” (Star Tribune) debuted last week on Funny Or Die, receiving the most votes for “funny” of any music video premiere on the comedy site since its inception. It’s now available to fans across all viewing partners. The new single follows Bentley’s recent GOLD certified No. one hit “I Hold On,” which will be part of ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute To The Troops. Airing Tuesday (5/21) on CBS at 8:00P CT, Bentley and a veteran joined forces for the special performance.
