FASTER HORSES FESTIVAL PROVES ACM FESTIVAL OF THE YEAR STATUS IN SEVENTH YEAR

Randy Houser and More Celebrate Three-Day Party Of The Summer

Nashville, TN – July 22, 2019 – ACM “Festival of The Year,” Faster Horses Festival hosted 35,000 fans across the weekend continuing to prove why the “rambunctious festival” remains “one of the biggest of its kind in the United States,” (Detroit Free Press). Moving into the seventh year, the town of Brooklyn, MI, officially renamed the town to Faster Horses, MI, for the festival weekend, inviting fans to enjoy unmatched entertainment paired with experiences unlike any other as the festival’s community vibe grows each year.

Kicking off the three-day festival on Friday, with action-packed sets from LANCO, Brett Young, Maren Morris and more while the sun shined during the “star-studded Friday” (MLive). The evening wrapped with a lively performance from ACM “Entertainer of the Year,” Keith Urban who thrilled the crowd with hit tracks from start to finish.

The summer fun continued on Saturday beginning with the annual “Faster Humans” foot race around the Michigan International Speedway, where fans showcased their Faster Horses spirit as they raced around the famous race-track before heading to catch the day’s stacked lineup packed with action-full sets from Danielle Bradbery, Mitchell Tenpenny and Morgan Evans.

Picking up the speed after a slight weather delay, Randy Houser took the stage followed by Old Dominion. Festival creator, Brian O’Connell invited headliner Toby Keith to chat on PEOPLE Country’s Facebook Live as they readied the crowd and toasted to the festival recently winning ACM “Festival of The Year” award. Toby Keith then took to the main stage keeping the energy high with the show staying at full throttle until 2:00am.

Both Friday and Saturday night ended with dance parties at “Late Night with Dee Jay Silver” as fans enjoyed the festivities taking place at the DISH Presents “Next From Nashville Stage,” keeping the party going into the late hours of the night.

Sunday closed out the weekend with electric performances by Cassadee Pope, Michael Ray, Dylan Scott, Kip Moore and Brothers Osborne, who finished their set with fans embracing the rain, followed by headliner Zac Brown Band who kept spirits up, playing fan-favorite hits and ending the weekend on a high note.

With The Detroit News praising as “Faster Horses becomes its own community,” crowds also gathered at the DISH Presents Next From Stage throughout the weekend to catch performances from the stage that has become a launchpad for artists in country music. With sets by Travis Denning, Levi Hummon, Matt Stell, Caylee Hammack, HARDY and more, the stage brought the most buzzed about newcomers to the three-day hillbilly sleepover.
