FIRST-EVER FASTER HORSES FESTIVAL DRAWS OVER 20K FANS FOR THREE-DAY “HILLBILLY SLEEPOVER”
NASHVILLE, TN – July 24, 2013- The inaugural Faster Horses Festival drew over 20,000 fans to the rolling Irish hills of Brooklyn, MI this past weekend for the music and camping festival.
“The Faster Horses crowd is dominated by high-spirited and fresh-faced twenty-something college kids on summer break, suburbanites from Detroit and Grand Rapids, and fans you might very well spot at next month’s Jay Z – Justin Timberlake show. This is their scene, and this music including fest headliners Bentley, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean is their party soundtrack.” Detroit Free Press.
Dierks Bentley set the bar for the headliners on Friday, July 19, kicking off the weekend for eager fans and didn’t disappoint with a fiery, action-packed set.
Luke Bryan “sent an already hyper crowd into a frenzy” (M Live) on Saturday, July 20. Being a part of the first Faster Horses festival was a blast. The energy level of that crowd was through the roof. You would have never known it was the first year” said Bryan.
Jason Aldean closed out the festival with a hit-filled set on Sunday, July 21. “Our expectations for the first year were blown away by a long shot,” said Brian O’Connell, President of Live Nation, Nashville. “The fans came ready to party and settled in for a weekend of amazing performances. Our goal is to keep coming back year after year and make this a summer staple, I think we’re off to a good start.” For more details, visit fasterhorsesfestival.com, twitter @faster_horses, LiveNation.com and join the conversation on Twitter, #FasterHorses.
