Aldean Set To Perform on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Wednesday
NASHVILLE, TN – Jun 25, 2007 – Just four weeks after rising country music star Jason Aldean soared to No. one on the Billboard Country Albums chart with sophomore effort RELENTLESS, he is seeing quadruple this week as the lead single “Johnny Cash” becomes his fourth consecutive Top 10 single and his fourth consecutive No. one video on CMT.
“If I were in Vegas right now, I wouldn’t have to think too hard about what number to bet on,” joked Aldean. “In all seriousness though, I am just really thankful to have had some success over the last few years and really appreciative of all my supporters at radio and all my fans who have helped me do it.”
Aldean has another full week of press interviews ahead including a trip to Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 27 to perform “Johnny Cash” on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He will continue on to Meridian, MS, Houston, TX, and Baton Rouge, LA, to headline a string of shows before rejoining Rascal Flatts in July to kick off their “Still Feels Good” tour through the end of the year.
