JASON ALDEAN ROCKETS TO THE TOP OF BILLBOARD’S COUNTRY ALBUMS CHART WITH “RELENTLESS”

Upcoming Appearances include Good Morning America, Fox & Friends, the Tonight Show with Jay Lenoand Jimmy Kimmel Live

NASHVILLE, TN – Jun 5, 2007 – More than tripling first week sales of his debut album, rising country music star Jason Aldean’s second Broken Bow Records album – RELENTLESS – lands at No. one on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and No. four on the all-genre Top 200 chart this week with scans totaling over 90,000. Additionally, those numbers are enough to anchor Aldean as the third best country album debut of the year, following only behind music superstars Tim McGraw and Martina McBride.

“We’ve been out on the road trying to win audiences over one at a time with our live show, but you never know if that energy is going to translate into album sales” said Aldean. “This is definitely a career highlight so far, and I am really looking forward to being at CMA Music Fest this week, so I can thank all the fans personally!”

“To say that Jason is the hottest and most charismatic star to break into Nashville in years is an understatement,” notes Bob Morelli, President, RED distribution. “It’s unprecedented in the current music industry climate to see an indy artist come out of the box with such impressive numbers on a second album. It is a testament to Jason’s talent and the hard work of Broken Bow Records. We are thrilled to be a part of their team.”

The award winning, Georgia native is currently preparing for a busy week ahead of media appearances, autograph signings, live performances and charity events. He will jet to New York for a performance of his smash hit single “Johnny Cash” on Good Morning America tomorrow, before returning to Nashville for a full schedule of CMA Music Fesival activities including a Platinum Party to celebrate his debut album on Thursday, a stadium performance at LP field on Friday, followed by his 3rd Annual Concert For the Cure charity event to benefit Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation later that night at the Wildhorse Saloon. Other national media appearances in the coming weeks include Fox & Friends (June 9), Tonight Show with Jay Leno (June 27) and a July stop at Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Aldean will hit the road again with superstar group Rascal Flatts this summer and through the Fall playing sold out arenas across the country. For other upcoming appearances and tour dates, visit the newly relaunched www.jasonaldean.com.
