Lead Single is Highest Chart Debut in Aldean’s Career
NASHVILLE, TN – Dec 4, 2008 – When Country Music Star Jason Aldean debuted the true to his roots lead single “She’s Country” from his forthcoming album on the 2008 Country Music Awards, the Georgia-native wasn’t expecting such a huge reaction. Four weeks after his rocking live performance, the anthem is still in the Top 10 on the iTunes Country Songs chart and has become the highest radio chart debut in his career to date.
On its official Dec. 1 add date, Aldean was one of the most added with 45 reporting stations on board, and it had already cracked the Top 40 on the R&R chart with programmers across the country predicting it to be his biggest hit ever.
