ACM “TOP NEW GROUP” TO PERFORM PRE-RACE CONCERT AT DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY LIVE ON TNT
NASHVILLE, TN – Jun. 9, 2008 – Rising country music trio Lady Antebellum will release the second single – “Lookin’ For A Good Time” – off their wildly popular debut album to country radio on June 23.
“Lookin’ For A Good Time” is the catchy, carefree follow-up to Lady Antebellum’s first Top five single “Love Don’t Live Here,” that finds Hillary Scott sharing lead vocal duties with Charles Kelley, building on the tight sound that they, along with multi-instrumentalist and background vocalist Dave Haywood, have developed.
“Who isn’t looking for a good time?” laughs Kelley. “The vibe of our live show is all about having fun, so this song seemed like the perfect anthem for our summer shows. Plus, Hillary gets to rock out a little harder on this one, and that always makes for a good time!”
The band will introduce the new single to their rapidly growing fanbase as they continue to crisscross the nation this summer opening shows for country music superstars including Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire.
Additionally, Lady Antebellum will debut “Lookin’ For A Good Time” on national television when they perform a pre-race concert and the National Anthem at the Coke Zero 400 powered by Coca-Cola Sprint Cup Series event at the Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, July 5th on TNT.
