RISING COUNTRY MUSIC STAR JASON ALDEAN ENJOYS CONTINUED CHART SUCCESS AND STRONG ALBUM SALES

“AMARILLO SKY” BECOMES THIRD CONSECUTIVE NO. ONE VIDEO ON CMT

NASHVILLE, TN – Jan. 06, 2007 – A record seventy seven weeks after its release, rising country music star Jason Aldean is still celebrating the success of his self-titled debut album on Broken Bow Records, which has spawned three chart-topping radio hits, three No. one videos on CMT, industry awards, over 850,000 albums sold to date and a opening slot on tour with superstar group Rascal Flatts.

Aldean’s current single “Amarillo Sky” is presently sitting at No. four on the country singles chart, and this week, the video reached the top spot on CMT’s Top 20 Countdown, becoming his third consecutive No. one video on the network. The ACM TOP NEW MALE VOCALIST had previous chart success with both “Hicktown” (Top 10) and “Why” (No. one).

“I feel really fortunate to have had some success this past year and a half,” said Aldean from a show in Wichita, KS. “A huge thanks goes out to everyone at country radio, our friends at CMT, and all of the fans who called and requested Amarillo Sky.”

With just about as much momentum as anyone in the business, the shelf life of Aldean’s debut album doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. After 18 months in stores, the Georgia native is still selling an average 10,000 albums per week and is currently holding strong as the oldest release on Billboard’s Top 20 country albums chart.

Aldean will rejoin Rascal Flatts on their “Me and My Gang” Tour kicking off February 8 in Charleston, WV and continuing through the Spring. For other upcoming tour dates and appearances, visit www.jasonaldean.com
