Nashville, TN – August 5, 2019 – Praised as “routinely one of the most-anticipated events of country festival season” (Rolling Stone), Watershed Music and Camping Festival proved it status this weekend, rounding out another unforgettable, bucket-list experience as over 25,000 fans filled the Gorge Amphitheatre for three-days of sun-kissed fun and star-studded entertainment. With one of the most scenic live music venues in the world providing both “a sonic and visual treat” (Billboard), the soundtrack of the weekend was first-class country music layered with unrivaled fan experience.
Fueling fans for the party ahead was Thursday night’s “Party in the Pivot,” where crowds gathered in the center of the campgrounds to catch local Washington talent set the vibe for the weekend.

Kicking off the Friday festivities were powerful, tone-setting performances by Kip Moore, Chris Young and more, gearing self-proclaimed “‘Shedders” up for a thrilling set from Miranda Lambert also featuring Pistol Annies to cap off the first night.

Throughout the weekend, fans also enjoyed festival activities between sets such as “The Dating Game” presented by Smirnoff for a blind speed-dating experience. Fans also enjoyed performances from some of the hottest newcomers in the genre on the DISH Presents Next From Nashville stage, where artists including Ingrid Andress, Travis Denning, Seaforth, Caylee Hammack, Lauren Jenkins, Brandon Lay and more shredded on the stage known for launching the next generation of country music.

Saturday featured fiery performances from Cody Johnson, Midland, Brothers Osborne and more before heading into the headlining set by Zac Brown Band, where fans were reminded why Watershed remains one of the most sought-after passes each year after a night of sing-alongs under a star-covered canopy.
Across the weekend, Brian O’Connell, Live Nation’s President of Country Touring, hosted special artist interviews on PEOPLE Country’s Facebook, giving fans a closer look into an artist perspective of Watershed, some of which included CAM, Kane Brown, and Jason Aldean.

Ending the weekend on a high was Sunday’s stacked lineup that included Maren Morris, Kane Brown and more before headliner Jason Aldean took the stage for a charged set, solidifying the festival’s “iconic” (PopCulture) status.
Watershed Music and Camping Festival will return to the Gorge Amphitheatre for its ninth-year on July 31 – August 2 in 2020.
