Nashville, TN – Feb. 27, 2017 – Multi-ACM nominee Thomas Rhett kicked off opening weekend of his first-ever headlining tour with “one of the best Country concerts of the year” (Peoria Journal Star). The adrenaline-filled weekend (Saginaw, MI; Erie, PA; Peoria, IL) included surprise special guest performances by Danielle Bradbery, Joe Diffie and Thomas Rhett’s father Rhett Akins, as well as an electric encore including show openers, Kelsea Ballerini, Ryan Hurd and Russell Dickerson, for Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic.”.
“Blown away…blessed…amazing…there are so many words I could use to describe the last couple days,” said Thomas Rhett. “The energy this weekend was off the charts, so I can already tell this tour is going to be all about making memories with the fans.”
With “his first headlining tour underway, the best is yet to come” (Go Erie) from Thomas Rhett, as fan-demand continues to heighten after the debut run, with more than a dozen sellouts ahead including back-to-back stops at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater in April.
